What is Animix?

Animix is an AI animation studio for iPad and iPhone. On one infinite node canvas you paint with a professional Metal brush engine, generate images, video and 3D models with frontier AI, and connect everything on boards that trace the full lineage of a scene — image to video to frames to edits.

What can I create with Animix?

Images, short videos, 3D models and hand-edited animation. Start from a drawing or a prompt, generate an image, turn that image into a video, decompose the video into frames and paint on any of them, or lift a subject into a 3D model — all on the same board.

What devices does Animix support?

Animix runs on iPad and iPhone (iPadOS and iOS 17 or later) and supports Apple Pencil with pressure and tilt. The interface is designed for the large iPad canvas first and reflows into a compact iPhone layout.

What is the node canvas and lineage graph?

Every piece of media — a drawing, a generated image, a video, its frames, a 3D model — is a node on an infinite board, connected by edges that show how it was made. Instead of a chat log, you get a visual map of your creative lineage that you can branch from at any point.

Which AI models does Animix use?

Animix runs a roster of frontier models across modalities: image models such as Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5 and GPT Image 2; video models such as Seedance 2.0, Veo 3.1 and Kling v3; and 3D models such as Rodin Gen-2, Hunyuan 3D, Tripo and Trellis. You choose a model per generation, and the roster is updated over time.

Can I edit video frame by frame?

Yes. Animix decomposes any video into its individual frames, and you can paint on any frame with the full Metal brush engine — a hand-touched finish no prompt can give you — then play it back as animation.

Is Animix free? How do credits work?

Drawing, organizing projects and using the editors are free. AI generation runs on credits: you get 25 free credits the first time you sign in, then refill with an Animix Pro subscription or one-time credit packs. Bigger models cost more credits, and the cost is always shown before you generate.

Where is my work stored, and does it sync?

Your projects and assets are stored as plain files. If you enable iCloud sync, they live in your own personal iCloud Drive and sync across your devices through Apple — visible in the Files app. We never receive, access or store your artwork; only the specific media you choose to generate from is sent for AI processing.
